Broadway producer with a drinking problem checks into a nut house to get sober, where he finds out he and other patients are hearing their own voices warning them about a murder that's going to occur. Has anybody read this book? I've had it on a shelf for months, just started reading it, so far it looks interesting.

Is this one of "Patrick Quentin's" books? I've never read any, but a friend of mine, also a mystery buff, recommended them. How was/is the book, novastar6?

Thanks for the bump, Salzmank. I was going to check this out, and then forgot about it.

I really enjoyed this series with Puzzle For Fiends being my personal favourite. Peter Duluth and his wife are a fun sleuthing team even though the couple does break up in a later instalment .

I thought it was rather good, it kept me guessing for the longest time who the killer could actually be, but towards the end, even though I had no idea how it all tied together, it seemed to become obvious the 'who' of it, just not the 'how' or 'why', so when those parts were explained it was interesting.
