Romantic love is true love. There are many different types of love, & romantic love is only one of them. Romantic love, if it is true love, will keep spouses faithful to one another, and to their children.

Romantic love isn’t terribly important in Christianity either which is a good thing.
People pick the wrong people all the time based off of romantic love.
Practical and principled love is better but that’s not going to seek many romcoms.

True, not all marriages work out, but, that is because of INFATUATION, not necessarily romance itself. People often are blinded by what they think is love. Also, when the object of the person's affections have some very obvious, serious, issues, sometimes, the person (who is in love with the troubled person) thinks that they can save said person, when in reality, they cannot.
