Betting on games, especially betting against the team that you are managing, is WAAAAAAAAAY worse than juicing to make yourself a better player. Comparing Pete Rose to Barry Bonds is silly. And no, Pete Rose doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame. It’s an “integrity of the game” thing that I equate Bonds with Rose. A different side of the same coin.

This one's tough. I fully believe that, no matter what a guy or girl has done off the field (other than something like taking PED's off the field, which (obviously) affects one's performance on the field), their inclusion/exclusion to a Hall Of Fame should be judged based solely on their performance while playing the game. By that measure, yes, he most certainly should be included......but, just like O.J. Simpson (who, obviously, can't be compared to Pete Rose based on their VERY different 'crimes'), maybe every Hall should have its own 'Hall Of Shame' wing where the busts of those HOF'ers that committed (serious) sins/crimes off the field are placed for display......that way they are still honored for their athletic achievements, while at the same time being singled out for whatever crimes they may have committed in the real world..... SAVE FERRIS

What about Sammy Sosa? Should he be in the HoF? He got caught cheating and juicing.

I'm not old enough to witness him as a player or manager. That said, from what I know his gambling was never as a manager and that he never gambled against his own team to throw games for his own profit. If he never blew games for his gambling than hell yes he should be in. If he did? Than fuck no. Pretty sure he made bets on games he managed, and he admitted to it. I'm not even sure he made bets on games he DID'T manage. I think he also claims he never bet against his own team, but it would still affect the way he manged his team/the game.

Eh... he's Frank Sobotka's son... Ahh, I thought you were referring to someone in sports. I believe Ziggy is having a tough time in prison. He gets passed around like nazi salutes at a Trump rally.

SAVE FERRIS He may not be OJ - But he apparently/supposedly had sex with a minor - the girl claimed she was 14/15 at the time - Rose stated he thought she was 16 (apparently legal in Ohio). They reached an agreement in court. The Phillies cancelled his 'Wall of Fame' ceremony in light of this
