I didn't... somehow I think you might be joking, but I hope you're right. I’m actually serious. It was the opposite of Adam Gase’s presser. Matt Miller of Bleacher Report talked about him after he was hired and said that he heard per source that Belichick trusted him to run the room when he wasn't there. Apparently he's a real players coach and that his players love him. So if that's the case I could see a guy like that really nailing the interview process.

He said the NFC East is a tough division, and New York is a city of tough people. What a line! He also told a story about when he taught kindergarten PE for three days. That was great! And come on, surely you're not going to ignore the guy's work with the Pats' special teams this (well, last) decade? I don't think any coach could've done much with the WR corps the Pats were trotting out this season.

I don't think any coach could've done much with the WR corps the Pats were trotting out this season. I was being sarcastic about the situation, I didn't mean it as a shot at Judge. The Pats routinely have solid special teams so he must be doing something right. It doesn't hurt to have Matthew Slater, arguably the (not counting kickers) special teams GOAT. Anyway I didn't see the whole thing, I only heard him say something about blue collar hard work like 3 times.
