What a heartbreaking way to end this for Tennessee.

Mariota wouldn't have gone down like that. Looked like Eli.

I'm happy for the Kansas City Chiefs. I said when they landed Andy Reid I felt this was a dream partnership as he'd taken a stagnating Philadelphia Eagles as far as they could go and needed a new creative challenge, a move that worked out well for the Eagles too. Things had looked very dark for Kansas City early in the decade, with their playoff loss record stretching some way back (I think to the early 1990s), the horrific case of Jovan Belcher, the great Eric Berry's lymphoma diagnosis, and on and on. Chiefs fans have been terrific during this run and I wish their team well in the Super Bowl.
As for the Tennessee Titans, they announced their intentions from week 1 that they were nobody's pushover. They've been a credit to their sport and I have a feeling they'll be back challenging in the not-too-distant future. But today belongs to Missouri and the best team definitely won.
Congratulations Chiefs! On your way back to the big one ...

Great season for the Titans, fighting till the bitter end. Hopefully they don’t make like the Jaguars two years ago and fall back into....irrelevancy? Irrelevance? Whatever.

Chiefs get the win 35-24 and advance to the Super Bowl!! Great game by the Chiefs, after a slow start to the game they bounced back and controlled the game, Mahomes made some great plays and the Chiefs defense did a very good job of stopping Henry and thwarting the Titans offensive attack.

Mahomes has a chance to become the first QB in NFL history to win a SuperBowl and an NFL MVP award before the age of 25. But I ain't getting ahead of myself here. Just making the SuperBowl is enough for me as KC hasn't been to one in my entire life. It's all gravy from here. And Clark Hunt gets to hoist the Trophy named after his father, Lamar Hunt. Awesome.

Craziness. Never thought I’d see my Chiefs get there.

Big play the 46 yard pass to Otis Taylor down the sideline for the final TD.

That poncho is what they use to cover Arrowhead’s turf when it’s raining. I’m halfway to not even watching this super bowl. Go Niners.

KC should be favored in the Super Bowl. Bigger favorite vs Green Bay, I would think.
