I think you mean to say "that we can perceive directly with our senses". I mean, most of the time we can't see electricity directly (only when it ionizes the surrounding air do we see sparks and lightning), but we have lots of ways of detecting and measuring it, with devices that we can see and behave in highly predictable and repeatable ways. Assuming that your percentages are correct, the other 95 percent that is accepted by science are things that can be tested by independent groups that get the same results. When that doesn't happen then it doesn't get accepted by science (eg. Cold Fusion). I don't think too many people are bothered (these days) by the fact that they can't see the electricity that powers the device that they use to surf the internet. I think you're right. Most people these days are so fascinated by the goings-on in the 5% they're locked into that they don't even ponder about the 95% they're locked out of. Ok, good, but I'd make the further point that objective reality isn't confined to the 5 percent. Electricity is objectively real even when we can't see it.

Do you know how much of what is known to exist that we can perceive with our senses? Would you like me to tell you? I'll tell you anyway. Five percent. A measly five percent. I know, five percent is better than zero percent, but come on. Five crumby percent? That's what your "objective reality" amounts to. Five percent of what exists. You have settled for five percent. This means I know 5% more than you. Cheap insults don't do you credit. At least go with more expensive insults from now on.

When someone prefers fantasy over objective reality, that’s not a complicated person. Do you know how much of what is known to exist that we can perceive with our senses? ( this is a rhetorical question as I know it is a combination of your arse and some YouTube crap someone said who you share a stupid arse with, which they made in their basement)

It may be lower. Certain animal species are able to perceive more of the electromagnetic spectrum than humans, which might explain why I've noticed my cats paying attention to something that was invisible to me.

Where did you get this 'estimate'? From David Icke. Another source I found said 3%. Whatever it is, it's pretty meager. And BTW, please stop bothering Maya on the Food & Drink board. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. "David Icke Author David Vaughan Icke is an English professional conspiracy theorist and former footballer and sports broadcaster. He is the author of over 20 books and numerous DVDs and has lectured in over 25 countries, speaking for up to 10 hours to audiences. I will post whatever and wherever I wish. You're welcome! Besides, it is none of your business. Did you see Molarmaven made a guest appearance here the other day when someone revived an old thread? I read dome of 'her' threads. Some of the claims were pretty funny about having a husband etc. Oh! 'She also claims to be male in the profile.
