He may want to spend some of the free time he evidently has at acting classes because Freddie was terrible in these scenes this week and is generally terrible across the board. There's people who are good actors who just don't seem like they're trying or care anymore (Billy Flynn and also Chandler Massey pre-time jump, he seems to have been reinvigorated by it) and then there's people like Freddie Smith who I think are actually trying their absolute best but are just utterly terrible.

Chandler knocked it out of the ballpark on Friday’s episode. His pain was gut wrenching. His emotions were so on key. I felt like he was really going thrall of this. Kudos to Chandler for his Emmy deserving scenes.

I like Chandler but his constant smirking is off putting. I was glad to see that the smirks were gone and he did a great job in those scenes.
Freddie went 0 to 100 IMMEDIATELY when Justin gave him the news and it was weird.

I like Chandler but his constant smirking is off putting. I was glad to see that the smirks were gone and he did a great job in those scenes. Freddie went 0 to 100 IMMEDIATELY when Justin gave him the news and it was weird. It was kind of the same for when Kayla told Justin; and I think what Freddie talked about in that video at least partly explains it - which is that, for any of them to play that sort of scene, everyone just sort of leaves them alone to get into that mindset, which is emotionally and physically draining, so that they can really give the scene their all. But of course the other factor is Days' shooting schedule, which they've said rarely if ever does more than one take anymore; which kind means they have little choice in a scene like than to go from 0 to 100 to ensure that the scene doesn't get underplayed, because they won't have a chance to try it again or build up steam. And that of course is a huge problem if you want a good performance, you need the opportunity to do it right; and that's not the environment to do that.
