Discuss the show here. I haven't watched since Wrestlemania last year and just resubbed. I hope it's a good show.

I have been tempted to renew my subscription because I love the Rumble event. However I haven't really bothered to watch RAW or SD in months. I just feel like I'd renew the sub and be massively disappointed in the Rumble results. So I'm just gonna check in on spoilers from time to time. If the betting odds are correct than I'd be correct in being disappointed by one of the results. The other not so much.

I'll take Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar at WM, but I don't really care about what the outcome of the female Royal Rumble has to offer. Overall, I thought the show was mostly entertaining with some good surprise returns, and encounters in the Rumble matches.

Agreed.
I'll take Drew winning the rumble over the likes of Roman again who was favored until today apparently. Drew vs Brock is at least something fresh and new (unlike what it looks like the female match will bring). From what I read that rumble match was pretty entertaining. The Edge return while I expected still is pretty awesome. In regards to the womans, I just shrug because it doesn't matter what any fans think it's just gonna be Charlotte/Ric Jr getting every accolade they can until they retire. It should have been Shayna imo because they set that shit up at Survivor Series with her vs Becky. I guess I should just be happy that Charlotte didn't win it by entering #1 and being the first female to do so. But hey...there's still time for her to do that too so, yay?
Heard Fiend vs Bryan was pretty awesome as well but that's to be expected right? They've done great things when working together. My favorite Bryan match is still to this day the match he had with Bray a few years ago at the Royal Rumble. Believe it was the Rumble before WrestleMania 30 in which Bryan won the belts.

My jaw dropped when Edge's music hit. I hadn't heard the rumors. Now I wasn't a huge fan of his singles run, but that's mainly because I wasn't following wrestling for most of it. But I still felt for the guy when he retired, and it was awesome seeing him make it to the final 3.
Not so awesome was AJ trying to do a backflip when taking the spear. He landed awkward right on his shoulder blade. We'r could hope for a separated shoulder, but I'd bet it's a broken collarbone.
Dude still got up and got thrown over the top rope. When I broke mine playing football I could barely keep my eyes open with the pain.

hehatesshe in regards to AJ Styles you may be correct. Idk about the collarbone part but he did seem to be injured. Link: www.wrestlingattitude.com/2020/01/aj-styles-injured-at-royal-rumble.html"The injury reportedly happened right before that elimination, according to PWInsider.
Styles suffered the arm injury after landing awkwardly on his left shoulder following the Spear from Edge. Styles came back up from the Spear, holding his left arm, and it appeared to be dangling. A referee stepped up onto the apron to communicate with Edge and Styles was tossed out right after that communication. Styles was then tended to by WWE officials and medics at ringside right after his elimination.
AJ was then seen in the backstage area after the match, with his arm wrapped up and ice on it. Word is that Styles will be undergoing tests to determine the severity of the injury and how much time he will need to take off, if any."If he has a broken collarbone as you say than that takes a massive shit on the WrestleMania card imo. That dude is one of the few must see performers to watch a card like WrestleMania for.

Broken collarbones suck, but they heal pretty well after 6-8 weeks. Put him in a sling, back on TV in a month, and promote AJ V Edge.

When I think of broken collarbones I think of Aaron Rodgers and being out for most of the year but in reality it's really as you said like 8 weeks. So 2 months, AJ could be back for Mania and you could easily just not have him wrestle an actual match until late March if need be. I'd be all for AJ vs Edge. Edge is apparently on a Brock Lesnar like schedule anyways (reportedly) so neither need to do a whole lot of wrestling. Heaven forbid, they just tell a really good story. I'm really not wanting Edge vs Orton.
