I love it - curious to see what the logo/jersey's look like. Wonder if they'll stick with the seattle theme - blue, green, gray - but I think their brother a little north the Vancouver Canucks are using those colors today. I always loved the old Hartford Whalers jerseys They still sell (or maybe they are selling them again) tons of Whalers merch in the CT area. There's a real market to bring that team back. They're sweet - I bought one as a kid - still have it - no # or name - I was going to put Kevin Dineen but glad I didn't

Yeah it's still easy to find, they even sell Whalers stuff at BDL. (The Airport) Of course you can always get vintage stuff online from bootleg sources overseas. I have a personalized Whalers jersey as well as a personalized Springfield Indians jersey. I'd get a personalized Bruins jersey but my number is retired.

The Swimming Spaghetti Monster I already suggest The Cthulu, which clearly rolls off the tongue much more easily.

You could also consider it a 'greater-than' sign. It works on multiple levels.

Seattle has great enough sports fans not to make this silly. This isn't some cute expansion experiment.
