Not very hockey-like, but not bad. Definitely a unique one.

Not every team can be as cool as the "Flyers".

Seattle Cthulu would've been better.

I'm okay with it.
Cue some geographic heads ready to point out Kraken dwell in the North Atlantic. They're also not real, so there's that.
My choice was Rainiers, yet the Tacoma Rainiers (baseball) have proudly been around since 1960.

I liked Thunderbirds. Their WHL team's nickname. Seattle's only team close to a major was the Metropolitans. Yeah, mets isn't that inspiring (sorry klaw) but the unis were the bomb maybe tweak the Christmas colors a bit...
And "Krackens" would be better. I hate singular names

I love it - curious to see what the logo/jersey's look like.
Wonder if they'll stick with the seattle theme - blue, green, gray - but I think their brother a little north the Vancouver Canucks are using those colors today.
I always loved the old Hartford Whalers jerseys

TheGoodMan19I think, but I’m not 100% sure, that Kraken is already a plural form of Krake in the Scandinavian languages it was borrowed from. So Krakens is probably like sheeps, geeses, deers and oxens. I don’t know.

With that jersey how about the Krugers?

From Fudge Packers to Cowgirls to Cheatriots to the Tampa Bay Fuckin' Queers, people will always find ways to mock the name of a team they dislike.

The Hurricanes wear Whalers unis as their third jersey / special occasion type things.
