I don't see anything shaping up along the lines of, say, the French Revolution of 1789, or the Russian Revolution of 1917. I don't see another U.S. civil war on the horizon, either, even though some people like to predict that we're definitely headed for one.

Does it seem to anybody else--or am I the only one here--that most of the ones who like to predict such a war are the ones least likely to do any of the fighting (at least in the physical sense)? The war-predictors and -promoters will be sitting comfortably on the sidelines, laying bets on the winners, and jeering at the losers.
