The launch is going to be visible from the entire east coast, and especially spectacular over Florida, where I live. I would not think of missing it. The Atlas V 411 rocket is going to orbit the sun and take pictures. Launch time is scheduled for 11:03 EST but may be delayed no longer than two hours. I plan on staying up.

Some spectacular pictures have been taken of the sun recently. Atlas V is going to take some more.
