and what's amazing is it is actually really good, so was their second album from 2007 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_About_Janetoday however, Maroon 5's music no longer remotely represents anything enjoyable to me. Their songs starting from 2012 or so sound shrill, annoying, cliche and have none of genuine heart that existed on their first album.

Wow. Has it been THAT long? I guess so.
Then again, the hockey team that I follow moved into a new rink starting for the 2002-2003 season. In between stoppages of play, they would play the song that I figured was Justin Timberlake. It was the song "Harder To Breathe".
It was revealed that it was by a band called Maroon 5. So, I picked up their CD. I also love the songs "This Love" and "She Will Be Loved". I first listened to the whole CD in my car going on a road trip to a hockey game - coincidentally enough.

Yeah, their first two albums were superb pop/rock. They fell off a cliff after that, though. I remember buying their first album when it came out. They were one of the most controversial bands on the guitar boards I used to frequent.

I was never a big fan but I did buy their first album after seeing them open for John Mayer back in high school because they had a unique sound for an R&B based pop group, now it seems like Maroon 5 is just Adam Levine solo but with the same name and band members. There doesn't seem to be any Jagger/Richards, Plant/Page dynamic thing going with this band at all.
