Today's the big day. Brady can start officially talking to other teams at noon. Word has it the Pats offered him a one year deal for less than he made last year.

Falcons release CB Desmond Trufant. I’m not sure that this is a good move, Trufant has been somewhat up and down in the past but overall he is a solid DB and that leaves the Falcons with a void at corner. Will be interesting to see where he goes and what the Falcons do.

Or do they have somebody else on their radar?

Can’t believe the Falcons released Freeman, I have no idea who their RB will be now. I’m not sure what their goal is with all of this.

DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson. Un-effing-believable. Bill O'Brien is a complete moron. Cardinals acquired WR DeAndre Hopkins and a fourth-round pick from the Texans in exchange for RB David Johnson and a second-round pick. Staggering, stupefying. Bill O'Brien's foolish loss is the Cardinals' immense gain. Hopkins had a "down" 2019 as he caught "only" 104 balls for 1,165 yards and seven touchdowns, but there was quite literally zero evidence he had lost a step. The best body control receiver in the entire NFL still does not turn 28 until June. It's a grievous misstep for Houston and gift of a lifetime for Kyler Murray, who lacked consistent weapons as a rookie. As was the case with Hopkins and Deshaun Watson, he should work beautifully with Murray when the sophomore is outside the pocket. Murray also has the cannon necessary to find Hopkins down the sideline from the pocket. Even with the change of scenery, Hopkins remains a locked-in, top-three WR1. Bill O'Brien, call your attorney. What the fuck are the Texans thinking trading Hopkins?! One of the stupidest things I’ve seen an NFL team do in a long time. Hopkins is an outstanding WR, one of the best in the league, you do not trade someone like him. Unbelievably horrendous move, Bill O’Brien is a brainless fool. What a huge gain for the Cardinals and Kyler Murray.

Austin Hooper is a great addition for the Browns, and they should have a terrific offense this season, with OBJ and Landry at WR, Hooper at TE and Chubb and Hunt at RB, a lot of great weapons. They should have a great offense, but Mayfield regressed a lot last season and will need to improve his level of play if the Browns want to be a playoff team, hopefully for them he will do well in Stefanski’s system. It will be interesting to watch, there were big expectations for the Browns last season and they didn’t live up to them.

"Buccaneers making intentions known to Brady."
Just remember I suggested Tampa Bay as an ideal landing spot on December 9th.

Colts trade their first round draft pick to the Niners in exchange for DeForest Buckner. Great pickup for the Colts, they needed a pass rusher, will be interesting to see what the Niners do with their pick.

Falcons trade for Ravens TE Hayden Hurst, I guess he will be Hooper’s replacement at least for now. He’s a decent player but a drop off from Hooper. Falcons also get a 4th round pick while the Ravens received 2nd and 5th round picks.

Scary version we haven't considered: Brady views a lot more teams than we do as being 'just a QB away.' Or he just wants to prove he still 'has it' and signs a bloated contract with an average team with a few weapons just so he can put up gaudy numbers one more time. Tampa Bay fits that bill. Possibly a couple more " Okay, I count eight total guesses there, that's one quarter of the league.

Deshaun Watson should be demanding a trade. That Texans continue to do him no favors. Such a waste of a great talent on an affordable contract and they did nothing to maximize or build on it. Just trading away their best players for what? David Johnson and a 2nd rounder? WTF?
Kyler I think is now a good dark horse bet for MVP whenever next season begins.

DeAndre Hopkins for David Johnson. It was a terrible idea to name Bill O'Brien as the new GM.

All said 2 months before the season ended. Find me someone who said anything similar any earlier.
