Austin Ekeler signs a 4 year, $24.5 million contract with $15 million guaranteed.
Melvin Gordon ain't going to be coming back to the Bolts.

'Skins looking to trade Trent Williams
Feels like this has been going on forever.
Thinking it gets done prior to the draft though.
Gotta think he fetches a first round pick - then again he's getting up there in age - he's been around for like a decade.

Josh Norman going to the Bills. Interesting move, McDermott was his DC in Carolina so thatās probably why heās going there, heās really dropped off over the last couple of seasons, I wonder if his production will pick back up, the Bills have a good defense.

I donāt know the Billsā depth chart but if heās not expected to be the number one lockdown hold Julio Jones to one catch kind of CB then itās probably a decent move.

The Bills have an excellent corner in TreāDavious White so Norman wonāt be their top corner. I agree itās probably a good move and I expect Normanās production to be better.

I wonder how many Jarrett Stidham passes he'll pick next season?

Marshall Yanda retired from the Ravens. One of only three guards in NFL history to make at least 8 Pro Bowls and win a Super Bowl (Larry Allen, Alan Faneca). He was still playing well last year, so the Ravens will definitely have to deal with that.

What are everybody's views on 'Compensatory Picks'?
i.e. do you feel that a team should be rewarded with Draft Picks because a free agent bolts for another team - or do you feel as if it's up to a team to just decide to keep their own free agents/sign other free agents and no compensation should be rewarded for a team that is cost cutting?
this is a brilliant way of rebuilding IMO - although I can see how one can question a team's motives - i.e. you're being rewarded for either being cheap or deciding you no longer need a players services.
the Eagles received 3 compensatory picks upcoming in this draft. they now have 10 overall.
picks rewarded:
3rd Round Pick - for losing Nick Foles 4th Round Pick - for losing Jordan Hicks 4th Round Pick - for losing Golden Tate
This is an haul IMO - 3 'free picks' pretty much for players they let walk - and now can load up on an area of need - please load up on CB, Safety and LB.

That's pretty amazing.

Teams like the Patriots and Ravens have been doing that ingeniously for years. Absolutely it should be done. It rewards teams that draft well and develop talent.

Packers releasing Jimmy Graham, highest paid TE in the league. Prayers can be answered, my friend. I don't care about the Packers or Jimmy Graham, yet I'm happy for you that this has happened. šššš

One could say that . . . they just couldn't say it about the Sixers.

Vikings have released Xavier Rhodes and Linval Joseph. Rhodes really declined in production over the last 2 seasons, Iām not sure what happened to him but he used to be a very good corner, wonder where he will wind up.

Vikes fans still talked like he was the shut down corner of the league. Personally, I hope he goes back.

Ravens trade a 5th round pick to the Jaguars for Calais Campbell. Great player move for the Ravens but it will cost them $15 million if they don't renegotiate the deal. Definitely trying to find a way to stop Mahomes.

Colts resign Anthony Castanzo for 2 years, $33 million. Should be more enticing for quarterbacks to go to Indy if they have him there.
