Rise of Skywalker. That way, I can end the saga however I like in my head, and it doesn't have to retcon and destroy previous movies.

The Rise of Skywalker
The Holiday Special is probably the worst one, but it's also fun in a 'so bad that's it's good' way and it doesn't really anger or annoy a lot of people. Attack of the Clones is my pick for the worst movie in the non-special installments, but it's too interwoven into the rest of the trilogy and removing it would destroy George's vision and worldbuilding of the prequels, the 2 elements that were probably the best part of the prequel trilogy. The Rise of Skywalker on the other hand feels like a movie made by a company and not people. It's a redo of episode 8 + episode 9 squeezed in one 2.5 hour movie, undoing any overarching themes the sequel trilogy could have had after episode 8. Based on the people I talked to, no one's happy with it. Not the people who liked episode 8 and not the people who disliked it. It's just unsatisfying in every single way. Even though I think it's better in terms of directing, acting, dialogue etc. than Attack of the Clones, I'd definitely rewatch episode 2 before I'd rewatch episode 9. Because the prequels feel like a living universe, like a vision of a sci-fi fantasy Star Wars universe. And so does the original trilogy. And so do episode 7 and especially episode 8 imo (perhaps a hot take, I know). But episode 9 is the only installment that doesn't feel like anything at all.

The Holiday Special. And with that gone, The Battle for Endor would like as not never have been made, so it's all good.

A New Hope (1977)
even though it's the best, if it didn't exist then most of the crap which ensued wouldn't exist either.

I have a soft spot for the Ewok movies, and the Holiday Special is a so bad it's good. That leaves the prequels and sequels, so I'll have to knock out The Last Jedi since it's the most offensive to me and my memories of Star Wars as a kid.

Of those I have seen, I'd have to go with Rogue One.

The Holiday Special.
I know it was intended for kids, but it honestly has no good reason for existing.

The Holiday Special. And with that gone, The Battle for Endor would like as not never have been made, so it's all good. But you'd also be wiping Boba Fett, and thus The Mandalorian.

Force Awakens. Because it diminishes and destroys the achievements, arcs and lore of the previous films because of rushed rehash. An utter abomination.

I would eliminate The Force Awakens so there is no sequel trilogy in the first place. And The Force Awakens is my favorite of the new trilogy.
