Original singer of Ultravox (see Ultravox thread), went on to a varied successful solo career, many albums, also collaborations, mostly pretty cool.

I was gutted when he left Ultravox because I absolutely love those albums when he fronted them. Foxx's solo debut, Metamatic, is a great album.

I only have about 3-4 of his solo early 80s releases, but sadly I have never really gotten to "warm up" to either of them in the same way as the first three Ultravox records. Still, some of them do come with several fantastic songs, which I think should have gotten far more attention at the time.
I think The Garden (1981) might be my favorite, mainly due to it feeling like a natural follow up to Systems of Romance (1978), and included a couple more memorable cuts than Metamatic (1980), which was cold, very, and probably the better record, but it just went nowhere for my part. Anyway, the combination of more catchy and upbeat melodic romantic synth pop, along with atmospheric and elegant mood, made it into a rather interesting release, and I will try to check out some of his later outputs.
Europe After the Rain
Systems of Romance
The Garden
However, I think one of his finest of the early 80s songs, came sadly one the, well the not so impressive The Golden Section (1983).
