While it would be good to have more than one person so that ideas could be bounced between two people, I think that might complicate things for two reasons: One, it would be difficult to share all that knowledge between two people and because if there are only two presidents and they disagree, it would likely create conflict and that could take a third party to resolve since the presidents would have just as much power as each other.

How do you suppose the responsibilities would be divided if there were two presidents? I guess one could be in charge of domestic policy and the other be in charge of foreign policy. But still its not a good idea.
