So cute. I didn't know baby koalas are called "joey" as well. Neither did I. Did you know that baby bunnies are called kittens?

We had a kitten (not a bunny) who liked to sleep clutching a teddy bear.

So cute. I didn't know baby koalas are called "joey" as well. I'm an American, and somehow I completely knew that. Well, I know baby kangaroos are called "joeys". And pretty sure I learned in school it is all marsupials that a baby living in the pouch is a joey. But of course I thought that marsupials carried the babies around in their pouch, then the joey got out and did things then when he was tired he went back in. Pretty sure once they come out they don't go back in. Like the mom kangaroo would put the joey in the pouch, then go hopping over to the river, then the joey would get out and have a drink, then get back in and they would go back home.
