soo... gonna be on 2 planes next week. i got myself a N100/ FFP3 respirator and a bunch of antiviral tissues and gel and will set out on my travels. i am not really worried about myself but potentially catching it and then infecting others who may be from the risk groups (old people, immunity problem people etc.).
the respirator is no fun though, its Pretty annoying to breath through if you use it right.
would u spend 8 hours on the plane wearing it the whole time? if not why not if yes why yes?

See if you can make it look like... this is the one I actually wanted to buy and they do sell it on Amazon and it even had the right CE markings but Of course it’s now sold out  But this one I would wear for Sure. Love Bane. |

You do so much flying Nora. I suppose you are used to it, but I find it just gets too much and all the airport security s<>t and crowds and especially at the moment, with this coronavirus fear mongering. You must be a glutton for punishment....  it’s mostly for work. If I wasn’t getting paid for it and hadn’t confirmed already, believe me I wouldn't be flying these days. I was Kinda hoping the event would be cancelled but nope it’s still happening... So what is it from you, yay or nay on wearing a respirator on the plane? |

It's an exercise in futility for the most part. I'm not living life worrying what may or may not kill me. Something comes along and people forget all the other killers still out there. West Nile Virus, Bird Flu etc, etc.. If it's your turn to go, nothing in the world, no matter what precautions you think to take will save you.

Yep, most of us are still healthy enough to survive but that doesn’t mean we won’t pass it on. When I was looking after my mum during her final years I was given flu shots simply because I was spending time with her.

No, I wouldn't wear the mask because it's uncomfortable. But if I did, I'd be more worried about getting stuck somewhere in an unexpected quarantine. "Sorry, we discovered one of the passengers has the virus, so you'll have to stay here for two weeks."
