Anyone heard of this, interested in seeing it, seen it? Cheating a little as it's 6 distinct "episodes" which could almost work as stand-alone films. As a fan of long-form cinema, this is very intriguing. It's something I've been wanting to do for months, I just haven't had the opportunity. I've heard it's utterly brilliant and consistently so.

3 days, but I did it. Obvious comparisons to Rivette’s similarly monolithic Out 1. The first 2 episodes are relatively straight forward but it really takes off in the third and by far longest (5.5 hours) episode which I got a bit of a Godard vibe from also. The fourth is something else and will make or break the film for many. The fifth is a pleasant distraction and the tiny final episode was probably my favorite part, an abstract slow cinema experiment. Quite an undertaking and not without it’s flaws but definitely worthwhile for those interested in the possibilities of cinema.

It's since been released on DVD in Germany with good English subtitles. I found it on eBay for a pretty reasonable price. Not sure if it has been or is currently streaming anywhere.

I looked into this after my last reply. There's one place where it's streaming, Grasshopper Film. Looks like they have the rights until the end of the year. You can rent it for $4.99 (3 days) or buy it for $9.99. Seems like buying it would make more sense so you don't feel rushed.
Thanks for the heads up on this.

I found breaking it up over three days works well. That's how it was originally presented at festivals. Day 1: Episodes 1-2 Day 2: Episode 3 Day 3: Episodes 4-6

I heard about it when a critic I like reading (Tim Brayton) named it his favorite film of 2019. I don't know if or when I'll ever get around to watching it, though.

I count it as 2018, where I'd probably rank it about #4 or #5. It might just scrape into the top spot of the weaker 2019 if I counted it as eligible for that year.
