Yeah, I received a notice in the mail last week and I answered online. It was short and easy. I wouldn't worry about not responding, though. I doubt the government has the time and resources to track down and prosecute everyone who didn't answer.

I respond online. It was simple and quick.

Yes. I received the notice last Friday, and responded on Saturday, online. Done, and wholly non-intrusive.

Thanks for starting this thread. I tried doing the first on-line census over a month ago, then found it out the census people wouldn't accept my password; and then it was impossible for me to re-register with same or no password. I gave up, resigned myself to filling out my census from what I'd be getting in the mail. Then,--over a week or so now--I went to the U.S. Census site again, was able to maneuver my way around, paid closer attention, didn't need a password, filled out the form, which looked perfect, pressed enter,--presto!--it went through, including my address, which is so necessary to all this. Thus, satisfaction. After a while, worry set in,--did I do it right? there was no further confirmation from the Census people, no one answered my calls--and today I got a noticed from the U.S. Census people saying that I should fill out their paper form,--but don't worry if you did it already, just a reminder--and I don't know WTF to do or whom to talk to about this. To whoever reads this post, thanks for doing so. Also, if there's someone out there who can address my issue, answer my general issues here,--should I do the paper census again and risk "redundancy" and more problems or let my old response suffice?--I would be massively gratified. Thanks In Advance, John (just askin',--if no response, cool, these are troubled enough time without making mountains out of mole hills )

I did. And literally the next day I got laid off from work. Last time I answer any Census questions.

Yes. Twice. You have to do it twice. (I didn't know that before).

No. I don't like people knowing I exist.

Never will.
If the census fascists try to track me down, they will have to follow breadcrumbs.

Never will. If the census fascists try to track me down, they will have to follow breadcrumbs. Do you live in America? Don't they show up at your door if you don't respond either via phone, email or mail? They are relentless.
