1. I loved it when I was 16, haven't seen it since.
2. This was the first zombie movie of the boom that led to 28 Days Later, Shawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead and the Dawn of the Dead remake, when that zombie with the messed up foot shows up dragging the axe I was leaping out of my seat with excitement.
