I spent more time appreciating STORYTELLING's dark humour for its uniqueness than laughing at it. I guess that was the point? This anthology starts with FICTION, an interesting 25-minute-long segment that focuses mainly on 1 character that ends ambiguously. Hell, it ends during a conversation that's about to end but that maybe continued a little bit more after the fade to black. Since this movie is 90 minutes long, it seemed like there would be 2 more stories focused mainly on 1 character. Instead, there's only 1 more story that focuses on a bunch of characters: NON-FICTION, which has a longer running time (thereby ruining the balance) yet less content. Most of the performances are decent. Selma Blair and John Goodman's are good and Robert Wisdom's is great. 5/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
