I know that it won't ever happen but if they actually decided to make Another STAR WARS Sequel Trilogy then I myself would absolutely love to see Rey Skywalker actually turn to the Dark Side (She does have that Palpatine Blood in her) in it and I do suspect that a lot of "real" STAR WARS Fans (I myself don't consider anybody in "The Fandom Menace" to be STAR WARS Fans) may actually be interested in seeing that happen as well if it was done right.
Sith Rey in "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER"
What does everybody else here think ?

Curious as to what you consider to be part of the "Fandom Menace" do you mean people who dislike the sequel trilogy, like myself, in which case blow me, I am a star wars fan, I just hate the regurgitated or masturbatory wank that RJ and JJ shat out, but if you mean the pricks who harassed, harassed mind you not criticised, the cast and crew of the movies with ignorant bullshit, which includes those who knob slobberingly ship Reylo like rabid chipmunks, well ok fair enough on judging them twats.
Personally I would hate this idea, it's just more regurgitating bollocks, so now Rey is going to do a Vader but better? yay because she didn't drag her figurative balls over the faces, legacies and journeys of every member of the true Skywalker family enough in this shit box of a trilogy, also who the hell is going to be strong enough to stop her? and why the hell would she anyway? because she's Palp's clone's daughter? yay because that's so compelling...Atleast Vader had a reason for going darkside, but you want Rey to go evil because of bad gene's? Dude no offense but your idea makes TLJ seem palatable to me.

I actually kind of agree with that, having her turn to the dark side and rule the Galaxy as a Sith lord would have been a good twist ending i think.
But still i did not really hate the ending we got.

See that's actually more interesting imo, that she falls to the darkside in her attempt to rid the galaxy of Palpatine, leaving the trilogy off on a dark note would be something different for the series, maybe have her cross a line like Ben could save her without dying but Rey steals his life energy to make herself more powerful, sacrificing Ben for her own ends which she justifies in the need to kill Palpatine, leaving her weaker afterwards but still the victor, but now a corrupted soul, certainly more interesting than she saves the galaxy without giving up her soul as it were but then just goes evil because of that pesky Palpy DNA.

Yeah, They are the ones that I am talking about and no disrespect intended to you when I say this but I have to disagree with you when you say that they harassed the Cast and Crew. To me, They didn't just harass them. They Bullied, Attacked, Insulted, and Disrespected them (to me, those things are more than harassment).
They actually also Bullied, Attacked, Insulted, and Disrespected all of the Fans that actually like the Sequel Trilogy JUST BECAUSE they like it, praise it, spend money on it, and defend it.

I loved the ending of "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER".

Fair enough on the first point, should have said harassed or worse, as much as I hate the sequel trilogy I just never found it worth the effort of tweeting or responding to any of the stars twitte,r Instagram, facebook whatever social media account event just to tell them, hey I think your movie sucked, let alone dog them for the stupid bullshit, it's one thing to bust on them on here within reason obviously, it's another to go out of your way to try and make them feel like shit however.
As for part 2 that swings both ways, and if you recognise that I am with you 100%, typically though people only tend to see it as one sided and it is not, speaking from personal experience me voicing my dislike for the Rey and Rose characters, because I feel they are poorly written, and usually me offering a reason why I dislike this or that and how I would alter it, whilst I voice my love of characters like Leia, Ashoka, Sabine, Here, Cara Dune and Asage Ventress among others like Boka Tan, Clone Wars Padme and Dutchess Satine citing them as examples of ways you can have female characters in SW be strong and smart but flawed like their male counterparts, unlike what we got with Rey, or you know being utterly dopey like Rose was, yet I have still had people try and label me as a sexist bigot who hates and fears strong female characters...go figure.
Personally I don't think the idea you said with how it left of would interest me, that being said like anything the right writer gets to do the story and the right director gets to make the movie, then that could be a great film, I mean on paper Empire can sound a bit weak also if you don't describe it properly you know.

They had their chance with the sequel trilogy. A trilogy of resisting the dark side just to turn to it in another is lame.

Please Forgive me for suddenly changing the subject here but you said something in your post that really stood out to me!
In your post, You said the Names of a bunch of Female "STAR WARS" Characters that you love and 1 of them that you said was 'Cara Dune' (Gina Carano's Character from "THE MANDALORIAN").
The reason why it stood out to me is because I also love the character of 'Cara Dune' (I am also a Really BIG Fan of Gina Carano as well) and I always enjoy talking about her and other "STAR WARS" Characters that I like.
I think that Cara Dune was Freaking Awesome in Season 1 of "THE MANDALORIAN" and Gina Carano does such a Really Great Job at playing her. I definitely hope that she will not only be back again for Season 2 but also in a Bigger Role (as in be in More than Just 3 Episodes) and will also not ever get killed off.

I have heard her role in S2 is expanded upon, but that wasn't confirmed just rumblings people had heard, so that's cool, even heard some talk about they would love to see a Cara Dune spin off, which could be interesting, I like Carano myself, I don't get some peoples hate for her, she isn't a great actress but neither were JCVD, Arnie or Sly for the most part, but they were all entertaining as hell, and Carano has an it factor and charm about her, plus as Cara Dune I think she did her best work of her career thus far, so if they want to give her more in the role I would be down for it and she loves the role apparently so that's a good sign, even if they kill her off "BOOO" they can always do a spin off series or D+ movie about her during the Rebellion which would be cool to see from the trenches as it were.

I don't know what the "right" fashion is. Also, wasn't the whole point of the sequel trilogy that your blood doesn't define your destiny? Certainly that was the point of her finding out Palps is her granddaddy. So, by having her turn, aren't you completely shitting on the message of the ST you claim to love so much?

Oh, I didn't know that they were talking about a Cara Dune Spin-Off TV Series. I think that it would be Freaking Awesome if they actually did that and I would most definitely watch it!
When it comes to Gina Carano as an Actress, I myself actually think that she has improved a heck of a lot with her Acting. I mean just look at her performance in her First MAJOR Movie "HAYWIRE" (which I know that they actually didn't use Gina Carano's own voice in) and then look at her performance on "THE MANDALORIAN". It definitely shows (to me at least) that when it comes to the subject of "Acting", Gina Carano has most definitely been doing her homework and improving more and more.

Isn't that already addressed in the OT? Luke is the son of Darth Vader and resists the temptation. Obviously being related doesn't turn Luke to the dark side.
