These still have a majority of very good installments...
MCU Harry Potter Pirates of the Caribbean Star Wars Dollars Trilogy
The Hobbit wrecked LOTR franchise for me. Too many weak Bond movies.

Instead of listing a strict Top 5, ill only list series that have at least two movies I score a 7/10 or higher AND a series has to have a minimum of three movies to qualify...
1)James Bond 2)Mission Impossible (this is definitely #1 in terms of consistency as all of the movies of the series are among my favorite movies in general short of the 2nd movie) 3)Dirty Harry (this made the list due to the first two movies) 4)Terminator (this made the list due to 2nd/3rd movie) 5)Before trilogy (it made the list due to the 2nd/3rd movies)
Honorable Mention: Fast & Furious. (only one movie scores a 7 or higher for me. but why it was a honorable mention is there are three other movies I score a 6-6.5/10 (i.e. movies 4/6/7) which are just a bit shy of the 7 or higher status)
p.s. personally I don't count 'The Man with No Name Trilogy' as it does not really seem like the same series (I think it's a stretch to call it a trilogy even though they are similar in some ways). but if I did, it would be listed above solely for the 1965/1966 movies.
on a side note... personally I would not list stuff as generic as 'Marvel' like people have done because doing it by that standard they are not really true sequels even though they are tied together a bit. but a true sequel is one movie to the next like usual (i.e. Thor to Thor 2, or Iron Man to Iron Man 2 etc). but even if I did count these they would not make my personal list.
