...(1972) last night. I found out about this movie because everyone says "The Mandalorian" is inspired by it. Apparantly TCM just found out about this movie, too. I only caught the last 15 minutes, but they were awesome and I need to track down all the movies now. Anybody know if an English dub exists?

I own 'Shogun Assassin' which I believe is a cut of several of the Lone Wolf and Cub movies made for English audiences. I enjoy it plenty.

My favourite of the Lone Wolf and Cub series, and the last 15mins were definitely the highlight.
I only seen the original series in its native language, and don’t know of any dub versions other than Shogun Assassin which is a re-edited version of the first couple films (sword of vengeance, river Styx) in the series.

I don't know for sure but I think Shogun Assassin was the movie Uma Thurman and her kid were watching at the end of Kill Bill 2.

The whole series of 6 original films is great. I've not seen Shogun Assassin.
