Hopefully they keep falling. I imagine they will. The lockdown regs are due to be reviewed on 23 April and it will fo Boris no harm if he can at least relax them. And since BoJo has the luck of the devil, the current kerfuffle may well be over in a few weeks.

This is the third day in a row. Looking closer at the curves www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/If You look 1 week ago there had been a similar effect in the death cases curve, might be a week-end effect. There might be a special longer delay in the case of the UK because yesterday I read in the FAZ that a death is reported only when the relatives have been informed (and that may take a while) Having said that, I want to express that I hope that I am NOT right... Looking at the Daily New Cases in the United Kingdom no - the trend seems not yet broken to me

Looking at the Daily New Cases in the United Kingdom no - the trend seems not yet broken to me As you say, it is early days and the oldies are still dying, which is reasonable enough since there is not a lot else cottontops can do. But the actual number of deaths is falling and that is the bit that counts. I dare say that that there are various anomalies due to the manner in which deaths are recorded, but it does look as though matters are settling down.

Boris is barely clinging to life and the "cottontops" as you so smugly refer to anyone older than the average shit stupid clueless millennial are far from the only ones dying but I'm sure you know more than scientists and doctors and people who didn't drop out of school at 14. Get some of your mates together chug some Buckfast and go play some kickball while shouting racist pejoratives since that's the national pastime in the UK. You'll probably be okay and if you're not no one will care anyway.

Granddad's Army have done their bit and the butcher bill has risen spectacularly today, so I imagine that the Blond Moppet will keep his head down for a bit longer.
