I feel it's dangerous and annoying to the car drivers to ride a bike in the street so I choose the sidewalk. Which are usually empty, except during this Coronavirus we have going on. Your streets are usually empty except when they should be? How odd. Not the streets, the sidewalks.

Are you saying you can hear a car honking when it's coming towards you but not when it's behind you? Why would the car be honking anyway and why would you need to hear it even if it is? If I can see the car coming toward me I don't need to hear the honk. I ride close to the side of the road, not in the middle, if I can't use the sidewalk because people are on it or their is no sidewalk to be ridden on. If a car was behind me going in the same direction as me and didn't honk, since I ride close to the side of the road, I might get hit by it as it is passing me. I ride on the side of the road of oncoming traffic so the cars can clearly see me as they are driving towards me, and I can pause or maneuver the bike to stay out of harms way. I feel it's dangerous and annoying to the car drivers to ride a bike in the street so I choose the sidewalk. Which are usually empty, except during this Coronavirus we have going on. Ok but your logic just sounds weird to me. Where I am it's against the law for an adult to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk as it's technically considered a vehicle and should be ridden on the road in the same direction as traffic. That doesn't mean I don't jump on the sidewalk on occasion as a courtesy and/or for my personal safety because it's a faster moving/busy road (as long as the sidewalk is clear). I would think most if not all drivers would be more annoyed and worried by a cyclist coming at them in the wrong direction than moving in the same direction as them. If you're following the rules of the road then cars should NOT be honking at you unless the driver is a dick or doesn't understand the rules of the road themselves.

I still buy cds for my fav artists.

I still buy cds for my fav artists. I like it, but it's not ground-breaking or anything. Vedder's vocals are a bit more controlled than usual, but otherwise I'd put it on the same shelf with Backspacer and Lightning Bolt. So if you like those, you'll probably like Gigaton.
