How are you guys going about doing it since most salons are likely closed?
I'm sure you don't want your hair long and messy, and also not want to risk messing up your hair if you attempt to cut at home since you're not a professional barber.
How do you maintain your hair at home during these Coronavirus times?

Catman hasn't had a haircut in many years but does trim off the scraggly ends now and then.

It must be bad for women. For men it's easy: Just shave it all of and go for the Kojak look. Then you can take bets on whether Corona will be over until your hair grows back or not.

Thankfully i had a haircut last month so its still 4-5 months until i need a new haircut.
Of course if i can not go and get a haircut in 4-5 months i guess i will just have to shave my head.

I had one just before everything shut down so I'm good with that for now. However, I need a touch up badly and will just do it myself.

Thankfully, I've my own trimmer & I've gone DIY fade for about 5yrs now. I was wondering about this though early on, it's a lot of ppl affected. I cannot imagine barbers & stylists remaining shuttered for too long, soon enough there's gotta be locations where 1 stylist - 1 customer is okay.

I barely bother containing the hair on my legs.

I have been pretty much cutting my own hair for many years now as it's easy for me to do it since I just use the electric hair trimmer with the 1/4" or 3/8" clip on it and go over my head that way. every now and then ill use the 1/4" on the sides/back area and the 3/8" on the top but lately I have been just using the 1/4" across my whole head since it keeps my hair a little shorter for a bit longer.
then to properly trim my sideburns I got a rechargeable trimmer which cuts things really close to the skin and then I just use my electric shaver to get it right to the skin during my typical shave.
I have been doing that about once a month (maybe a month and a half max) for many years now as it keeps things optimal that way.

I had an appointment for a haircut on March 18 ... two days after our Mayor ordered us to "go to our rooms," and included salons as no-essential businesses. (And, the Mayor is a woman, who should know better. ) I've been giving serious consideration to doing some trimming, on my own. Nora's post encouraged me. I keep my hair short and layered, with enough length to go around my curling iron, for special occasions. I haven't had any "special occasions," of late. I might just give it a shot. I have an appointment for a color tint next Tuesday. That's not going to happen. When the salons do re-open, those folks are going to be busy!!

I had a cut recently, so I'm good. I cut my husband's hair two weeks ago. Have a clipper and a trimmer, so it was good. He'll be due again next Saturday. I've colored my own hair with professional colors and developers, so no change as far as that goes. Nails look . . . interesting! 2/3 color gel, and 1/3 natural.
