Masks protect everyone else. Try to keep up. With January's news. ^^^this^^^ I think it's at the point where you don't actually know if you're carrying it or not. Which is why everyone should be wearing one, because you don't know if you have it or not.
The other day in my area it was the first 70 degree day, and people were all out walking and more bike riding than ever. And, my area are very proud and love to show off about how civic minded they are. Which isn't bad, of course. But it was a little comical seeing all of the people out on bike rides wearing their masks. Really the mindset is not "I want to go for a bike ride, but I need to wear a mask." It is more along the lines of "I'm going to go show everyone that I wear a mask!" I mean, they could have got much better exercise just doing pushups at home! I don't think these masks are supposed to be worn during exercise anyway.

Have you heard that... A) The virus is transmittable even without symptoms? and B) The curve is starting to plateau/flatten due to the measures we've been taking? Wearing masks being one of them.

Everyone should approach it like they could have COVID-19. Otherwise the bullshit circus never stops.

Yep, that is what I was saying. You don't know you have it, so wear a mask just in case you do.
At the same time - skip that damned bike ride. My area is full of virtue-signalling type people. They are probably thinking "what is the point of having a mask if everyone can't see that I have one?" If you need fresh air, we all have big enough backyards here. If you need exercise, you can do that inside or even in your yard. The last thing I want is some dumbass hyperventilating because he went for a bike ride wearing his mask.
