Wow I am surprised. I thought his bad American accent and goofy attitude in LC would make Untouchables a shoe-in.
"He pulls a knife. You pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital you send one of his to the morgue!"
"There goes the next chief of police."

He isn’t putting on an accent at all, what a bizarre take. ”Henry Walton Jones, Sr., is a fictional character in the Indiana Jones franchise. He is the Scottish father of Indiana Jones and is a professor of medieval studies at Princeton University. Alongside his academic teachings”

He is the Scottish father of Indiana Jones and is a professor of medieval studies at Princeton University. Alongside his academic teachings” Back in 1989 some said he was doing a Walter Brennan impression. Nowhere in 1989 did they say he was supposed to be Scottish. He was supposed to be American. That's why he is called Henry Jones and not Henry MacJones.

Nope ‘The father of renowned archaeologist Indiana Jones, Henry was born in Scotland on December 12, 1872. He is a professor of medieval literature, having received his degree from the University of Oxford on June 5, 1899 and is, according to his son, "the (professor) the students hope they don't get.’ he has the same accent as he does in everything else, his own. The mannerisms change but certainly it’s his Scottish accent that is used, zero doubts, case closed, now run along

Notice he is not a Scottish cop.
Malone is an Irish name. Jones is English.

I found him close to excruciating in the Indiana Jones film. He was pretty good in The Untouchables. Why is the poll closed so quickly?

His American accent was so bad they just said well he was born in Scotland. Did they get a Scottish actor to portray the younger version of him in the beginning of Last Crusade or the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles?
He usually tries to do an accent he just fails at it:

Sean Connery plays him in the beginning of The Last Crusade. You can tell it is Sean Connery's voice.

Sean Connery plays him in the beginning of The Last Crusade. You can tell it is Sean Connery's voice. It's his voice but Alex Hyde-White is listed as the actor. I was thinking of Young Indiana Jones specifically though.

Okay, it is still his voice. It makes no difference where the actor is from since he is suppose to be Sean Connery. This is a silly argument to me because I don't care about the accent when it comes to Sean Connery in anything. He is suppose to be Russian in The Hunt for Red October and he just sounds like Sean Connery. It doesn't bother me. His goofy personality in The Last Crusade is part of why the movie is so much fun btw.
