You have already named the obvious ones.
It’s far from perfect, but I have a soft spot for Tom Stoppard’s film of his own play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and I’d have liked to see more from him.

Other than the two you mention I can only think of Bo Hu who tragically committed suicide after completing his debut feature, the engrossing slowburn An Elephant Sitting Still.
