You see them and you immediately think of a particular movie.
PLEASE put a title label cuz not everyone may have seen the film.... spoiler it or not, your choice !

Humphrey Bogart's bow tie. "Deadline - U.S.A." (1952) is the only movie where he ties a tie on camera. The commentator on the DVD says, “Bogart also demonstrates the proper way to wear a bow tie. It is a fact that no human being in all of recorded history wore the bow tie better than Bogart.” Amen, brother.

mikef6 Technically a "bowtie" is a "costume" rather than a "prop" .. but seeing that it's Bogart... will let it go (this time ) Reminds me of the Great " loincloth: costume vs prop" debate !
Great trivia info about the tie too !

North By Northwest: A belly full of microfilm. No spoiler warnings needed for these - King KongProp or star? Either way, this is all that's left of Kong now. Hubby and I saw this 22" metal armature "skeleton" at a museum exhibit about 35 years ago; there were still tiny bits of foam rubber and fur clinging to spots here and there. It sold at auction in '09 for $2 million. Close Encounters Of the Third Kind
The mother ship model was at that same exhibit. Near as I can recall, the diameter of the main body is about 4 feet or so.

Probably the most famous. I have a copy said to have been made from the same mold. I don't believe it though.

Doghouse6 I've mostly been using the spoilers for those (like me) who might not recognize the films but like to "guess". I needed the one for NxNW ! Cool skeleton and story !

bravomailer I confess .. that image of the Falcon is of one of the copies you can buy ! We shall have to research the "is it from original mold or not ?" mystery.
