She was first memorable to me in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969). Only then did I discover her in her earlier roles: Floa in The Innocents.Bobbie in The Nanny.
Actually, was only exposed to Maggie Smith when she won an Oscar for The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.. [Under her breath], "No, Miss Brody.."She did play some mischievous little girls.

Yep! I know her best from the Legend of Hell House. The Third Secret is an obscure one with her and Stephen Boyd but an intriguing premise and she demonstrated she could be a co-star despite being a teenager. I didn't know she was in a kidnapping movie starring Marlon Brando--it was mentioned in the IMDB summary.

Sorry, Man-X -- could not do that from a cell phone in the middle of the night when awakened from a sound sleep due to the racket caused by your post.
So it's either up for grabs, or I will comply after completing the morning farm chores (feeding the cows, milking the chickens, etc.)

OK, chores completed -- thanks for your patience. Here comes -- 'Madame X'

A professional model while still in high school, 'X' was signed to a movie contract by Howard Hughes, who then proceeded to sell her contract to Paramount. Starting out in typical juvenile parts, 'X' developed into a very competent actress. As 'X' worked her way out of the teenage ingénue role, however, she found that she had less success in adult roles, and instead of landing parts in "A" pictures 'X' found herself relegated to "B" westerns and somewhat tawdry crime dramas.

Must be (drum roll) ... MICHAEL CAINE !!!
Up next:
___________________________________________
His parents were circus acrobats and he became part of their act. When they changed to vaudeville and wound up in California, he got a job in the movies. The founder of Universal Pictures Carl Laemmle changed his name. In silent films he played somewhat dimwitted youngsters. He will always be associated with his character in a long-running series at Columbia Pictures and on radio.

Michael Caine (Mutiny)
This one is easy but entertaining.
He was born to a respected biologist and an adventurous young woman. He was a rambunctious child who could be counted on to find trouble. He managed to have himself thrown out of every school he was enrolled in. In his late teens he set out to find gold, but instead found a series of short lived odd jobs. Information is sketchy, but the positions of police constable, sanitation engineer, treasure hunter, sheep castrator, shipmaster for hire, fisherman, and soldier seem to be among his more reputable career choices. Staying one jump ahead of the law and jealous husbands forced him to flee his native country.
