Got lost in the shuffle over all the love for SEVEN it was released just before it, but I liked it better.

I found it a cross between Se7en and Silence of the Lambs. Holly Hunter is very good in this. 5/10.

I guess part of the problem is that they didn't have a Kevin Spacey as the film's killer. Glasses McGee was pretty whatever. That's not to mention Harry Connick Jr is no Anthony Hopkins.
I did like the two female leads, and the concept is interesting. It all just falls a bit flat.

I thought it was a really poor offering, I would almost say that the Se7en rip-off Resurrection with Christopher Lambert is more fun to watch then this.

1995 was the year I probably saw the most movies in the theatre, living downtown, had no TV set, I went to everything, including this. It was pretty good, nowhere near the epicness of Se7en which came out around the same time, but still good. Harry Connick Jr.'s redneck serial killer teeth are what I remember the most!
