for better access to fresh produce? I don't plant very much, but got a couple of different tomato plants, including a new one for me....Hillbilly Yellow. It's like a Beefsteak tomato, but yellow and with less acidity. I'd never even heard of them before but it's the only yellow one I could find this year. It's an heirloom tomato and I'm anxious to see how it turns out. I'm not planting much else this year, maybe some zucchini and okra. Depends on how the weather is going. It's been too wet and cool to do much yet and a little early for some plants. Seed should have already been sown.

Not me. Home Depot, Lowe's, and other local garden stores are currently way too much of a hassle to shop at, so I'm not going to bother with plants or seeds.

Went to two different places to get what I wanted. Shopped a local, family owned greenhouse first. Found my tomato plants and most of my flowers there. I went on Monday and they had had a rush over the weekend and some things were already gone for now. Then I went to Westlakes. They usually have an awesome garden center....not this year. :-( I got a few things there, not many choices on seeds either. I think I was late to the party. They definitely didn't have as many plants, vegetable or flowers this year. I got enough to finish up and just waiting for the weather to co-operate to get everything planted.

No produce. Just lavender from a DIY kit. Managed to not kill it so far.
