For all of the people here who have seen the Movie "SE7EN", What was your Reaction to the Box Scene the very first time you saw the Movie ?

I thought it was a great ending. I was on the edge of my seat for the most of the film and I had a feeling it was probably Gwyneth Paltrow's head in the box . With Detective Somerset's final line at the end, it summed up everything I liked about the film: it was cynical and disturbing, bleak and depressing.

Great shocking scene.
I didn't like Pitt's acting, though.

I actually saw it coming. I knew it was going to be some part of Paltrow's body, like her hand or something (didn't realize it would be her head). Still a really good scene. Fincher is a good director.

An outstanding scene, from an outstanding screenplay Wrath wraps up the masterplan! from an outstanding director. As we all filed out of the theatre upon viewing it on release, there was like a stunned silence until some lass asked her boyfriend what was in the box? he turned to her and said this is why I don't take you to serious films from now on in!

I didn't know if it was supposed to be his wife's head or their baby.
