In JUSQU'AU DÉCLIN (THE DECLINE), a man accidentally dies in a survivalist camp. Some of the participants are afraid that the police will claim it was their fault. Therefore, they and the rest discuss whether they should all hide the corpse and pretend nothing happened. I wanted to give the movie credit for not taking that premise in the same direction other movies already have, but what's the point if the alternative will be a different plot that's still generic? It's very boring, the characters aren't interesting and none of the production values stand out. I guess there's supposed to be social commentary, but I couldn't tell you exactly what it is due to the lack of proper exploration. 1/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies on my blog.
