she changed so much and so early on in her life, that in a few years (provided she continues her music career) people will no longer be able to say "the fat" or even "chubby" girl when they talk about her, like that phase of her life and image will probably be forgotten in the next decade and her kids and new generations of her fans will one day be like "what, she used to be fat? No way!"
I dont think I have seen anything like this in modern popculture. Have you??

I think she looks best in the 2016 picture (the lighting isn’t great in the current one) but hopefully she’s happy with the result. I wonder if she’s had the excess skin removed.

I tend to agree with Stammerhead as she looks weird in the 2020 picture and 2016 is her all around best look. hell, I don't even think I would have recognized her if you did not tell me that was Adele in the 2020 picture. but who knows... we are just looking at pictures as I want to see her in video seeing her talk etc as maybe the 2020 stuff will be better then. but based on those pictures, the 2016 is probably her sweet spot and still looks like we are used to seeing her. |

I think she looked fine in 2016 and didn’t need to lose weight.

Too harsh looking in the current shot--she appears as if she's teetering on the brink of anorexia, and has had far too much facial work. Pity she appears to have become a bit of a cosmetic surgery junkie, unable to leave well enough alone.

I mean she lost like 120 pounds…. I dont think she is a cosmeting surgery junkie at all, I mean look at the pictures here, I think its all her just SO MUCH less weight/fat.

I think she looked fine in 2016 and didn’t need to lose weight. I agree. I prefer her even slightly bigger I think 2015. That would be my ideal size of her if I was picking a woman purely based on looks.

I was going to say the weight loss aged her but then I realized she’s in her 30s now and her last album was in 2015 when she was in her twenties. I feel really old. |

I feel she needs to keep her life a tragedy so she can write great music from the heart. But I also hope she's happy and I can live without more of her great music if this is the case.

I think she looked prettier and best of all, healthier, when she was carrying more weight. She looks dreadfully skinny now, especially in those closeups. The weight loss does seem to have aged her.
Above all, I hope she's happy and healthy.

Yes I agree, she looks better and healthier in the skinnier one (but to my eye her face looked better slightly fuller) but whats interesting to me is how very different she looks in her face. but i feel like we shouldnt be surprised she looks different, anyone would probably look different with that much weight loss. Its just surprising I guess.

Maybe she will surprise us all with some wonderful happy music... Also, skinny people can be miserable/feel pain as well so not all hope is lost

Happy music from Adelle could be a great thing, just as long as it's meaningful and not a club dance track. I know skinny people have their problems but she looks pretty so I;m not sure if depression will set in any time soon enough for ADELLE 33.
