Have you ever seen a movie or tv show set in San Francisco where they did not at least have one scene showing the Golden Gate Bridge?

Hitchcock wanted to film the Golden Gate Bridge covered with birds for the ending of The Birds, but couldn't figure out a way to make it work.
Would have been a pretty chilling sight to see.....

No. I think it's one of those scenic cliches like an establishing shot showing the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Colosseum in Rome. Hell, in Raiders of the Lost Ark they show the bridge despite the movie taking place a year before it was even built.

I'd be surprised if anyone can actually name any. Even cheap movies like The Room get their Golden Gate shots in.

It mostly takes place in side of a building, but does Towering Inferno show the bridge? It probably does, just thinking out loud.

I figured it probably did a flyover or something of the city just to establish location.
