No surprise there. And no doubt, both the Queen Victoria Day & Canada Day fireworks are probably cancelled too!!!!!!

Doesn't this seem a bit odd to anybody else ?? If there's ONE thing that almost seems to lend itself to something that everybody can easily enjoy, outside, while still maintaining a respectable distance from others, it's a fireworks display.... What gives ?? Personally, I believe it could be a commie plot !! SAVE FERRIS

I recall that last year, President Trump was threatening to impose large tariffs on Chinese fireworks (most of the fireworks you see in those big fancy fireworks displays are made in China). I don't know if those tariffs were imposed or not. If they were, many cities simply couldn't afford the extra cost for a large fireworks display, since they're expensive enough as it is even without the 25% tariff that Trump was threatening.
Again, I don't know if those tariffs were applied or not, but, it could be one reason why many cities are opting to cancel the big firework displays (in addition to the Coronavirus fears reasons).
