Both actors played a dark, gritty, serious version of James Bond. In your opinion, which actor was the better Bond and why?

Gotta go with Dalton. He was gritty but still suave and old school British gentleman.

Timothy just had more personality than Daniel even if wasn't as physical.

Dalton was way better. He was rougher but had personality to him. Craig just comes off as dull.

Daniel Craig was given better scripts, but Timothy Dalton was the better Bond. He had the dark edge and world-weariness that was taken directly from the original novels, but he had a British gentleman-like quality to him that Craig just lacks.
