Keep in mind these are rare exceptions to the general rule. it's like hitting the lotto in a bad way. but the media plays this crap up to scare people and promote more fear mongering as usual. but don't buy into it.
because ones chances of dying straight up from COVID-19 is probably less than 1%, or maybe 2%-ish tops and out of that already small percent next to no one (as 200 people or so is not even a blip on the radar) reacts as badly as the OP's article. so it's pretty much no real concern for damn near everyone.

Yes. It's already been established that the virus can have negative effects on young and healthy people in extreme cases. It's not the norm, but it has happened. This isn't new news.

My comment about it affecting the youth being rare was sarcasm because they feel invulnerable, and the pandemic is proving them wrong.
The point of my article was this bizarre series of symptoms in an otherwise healthy person (of any age). Did you bother to read it?
There will always be rare and unique situations that are unlike the "majority" of cases, but when I read what this kid went through, I don't recall ever reading about it happening before. Thus it's a "new COVID symptom" that we can add to our watch list that may pop up again.

Not sure if serious, but there'll potentially be new angles to COVID-19 for weeks & months.
There's no cure for Cancer, because Cancer isn't a specific thing.

I read about it and post about it because there are still people who think COVID is either a hoax, or just a simple flu, when actually it's mutating and we're learning more and more about it every day. Just when we think we know what to look for, people present with new and different symptoms. That's going to happen with any disease, and I understand that. However, I post these as they unfold and as new developments occur. It's not just educational but I think it's important to be informed as new symptoms evolve. Enough of them happen and they no longer are a "rare" occurrence.

Even Catholics and conservatives are DYING from Covid19 and still you insist that it's NO REAL CONCERN !

A kid got sick. There are 7.5 billion people on the planet catching all sorts of illnesses and diseases. If a kid got sick and it wasn't surrounding covid hysteria, would we hear about it in the MSM? These kids I write about aren't "getting sick" - they're getting COVID and almost dying , having organ failure, being some are being put into induced comas, and presenting with a growing host of new symptoms not seen before as this continues to mutate and get more dangerous and more contagious.

Trend noted in that many of the posters calling it all a hoax in all of the threads about the pandemic, are childless and have mentioned in the past that they estranged from their immediate families.
They also tend to show a general lack of empathy for others and concentrate only on their immediate needs and feelings.

They also tend to show a general lack of empathy for others and concentrate only on their immediate needs and feelings. I have a hard time understanding why people think it's a hoax or not that big a deal, or some sort of mass hysteria. All one has to do is turn on the news, and see how many people are getting seriously ill and dying. We're fortunate that most people recover, but that doesn't mean we can ignore the people who've been forced to be on ventilators or put into induced comas, or affected for weeks, being violently ill. I worry for the elderly, and the people who are at risk, those with compromised immune systems, and I worry about our frontline workers, the medical staff who are faced with being in that environment day after day after day, many of them dying as a result. And they're healthy individuals. I still see the younger people feeling untouchable, like they're so healthy, they're invulnerable. Yet every single day in the news I see teens and people into their 30's (with no underlying health conditions) who are dying. I see a lack of compassion perhaps.

That's pretty alarming, and last I recall, we don't see that with the average flu.
