No
My grandparents had work horses when I was a child.
One would let us ride but the other was mean! No free rides.
My BF across the farm from me had a horse. I loved going over and riding. Another friend, too. Fun visiting and riding.
My daughter has cerebral palsy. I took her to therapeutic riding lessons for 4 or 5 years. She loved it.
But no, I don't have a horse.
We have a sawhorse.
I too like horses. Smart

I used to!
Ahh, how I miss riding, especially bareback. Contrary to belief, you have more control and you can feel the horse beneath you and anticipate his moves.
I'd love to own horses again and go riding. It's not only fun but I also felt it was therapeutic.

I do, but sadly not for much longer. He's almost 30 (quite old for a horse), and he has bad teeth, so he needs to be put down. He used to be pretty fast, back in the day, although he was always a little clumsy. One time, we were running at full gallop, and he tripped on some weeds, and we ended up sliding on the ground, side by side. At least neither of us were hurt.
Our oldest horse lived 45 years, but he was part Shetland.

I'm allergic to only one thing in this world, guess what it is? Horses. I wish I had spent more time with him, but he's had a pretty easy life, mostly being out to pasture on green grass. I still hate to put him down, though. That's always the hard part of having animals around.

But as you said, 30 is definitely getting up there. At 30, a full gallop is a bit much to ask of an elderly horse
