After reading all the data, it would depend. A vaccine brought to market this quickly still hasn't had enough time to prove efficacy, long-term (if any) side effects, appropriate dosage, etc. I read yesterday there were a few, but they were playing around with the dosage.

My concern would be, as Pinky stated, it's still so early, and we don't know yet about side effects. Not to mention, the way the virus keeps mutating, and the way new symptoms keep showing up....
Like the drug Trump is taking, now they're saying it's risky? I feel like we're watching a tennis mask with all the back and forth.

Nope, not a chance. because ones body can naturally fight off COVID-19 and I think it's especially true given ones chances of dying from COVID-19 is very slim straight up (probably less than 1%, or not more than around 2%), especially if your a reasonably healthy person in general. I am not a fan of putting foreign substances (or prescription drugs etc) into ones body unless absolutely necessary. I am generally a healthy person to.
or look at it this way... I would not be surprised if ones chances of being injured from the vaccine is higher than ones chances of being injured from COVID-19. they had a thing on TV not all that long ago with something from the 1960's or 1970's (I forgot the exact name of the virus) and they started pushing the vaccine to the masses and some people died from it who otherwise would have been fine if they never took it. I know that's not a common occurrence and all (with people dying from the vaccine) but vaccines are mostly so-so as a general rule in my mind as I figure at the very least if the thing the vaccine is supposed to help with (in this case, COVID-19) does not have a reasonable chance of injuring you, why take the vaccine in the first place?
plus, with this COVID-19 vaccine they are under pressure to rush it which makes it that much more likely it will be of lower quality then usual.
hell, even when it comes to standard flu vaccines they even admit it's not guaranteed to work or only works against a limited amount of flu strains etc.
and as a general rule... I would not be too trusting of big pharma as they don't have your health is their #1 concern as they are more concerned with $ than ones health. this is not some conspiracy theory either as you see it all the time on TV they push these prescription drugs and then some odd years later you see those lawyer commercials saying if you took such-and-such drug and were injured call now as you may be entitled to compensation. the pharmaceutical industries standards have been lowered all in the name of $$$ (because as time went on people got greedier and sacrificed peoples health all in the name of $). plus... I don't take a genius to figure out loading people up on prescription drugs is not good for their health in the long term. sure, I realize there are cases where people ain't got much of a choice if they have a really serious issue, but in general it seems many take a prescription drugs to help with one thing and then they get side effects and need another drug to counter-act that and before you know it they are on multiple drugs and that's not good for their overall health in the long term.

Not a chance in hell. The crackpot angle, a lot of people believe this is going to be 'the mark of the beast', if you don't have this vaccine you can't buy food or gas or anything, can't sell anything either, and will be killed for not complying; people already want to round up anybody who doesn't believing in staying locked in their house until the vaccine exists in 6-18 months and exiling them on a deserted island, because they're SUCH a threat to the rest of society, or just flat out killing them because they're so dangerous, so it's not so unreasonable this will be a matter of 'take it or die/be imprisoned'. The practical angle: vaccines need 10-15 years testing to ensure they're safe, these are working to be churned out in 6-18 months. The first batch of Gardisil that paralyzed girls who got it, had been tested for 6 years out of the normal 10-15 period, and we're gambling on 1 1/2 years to be safe enough?

Would really depend on how good the science behind it was. I don't fear getting CV for myself, but I do fear about accidentally spreading it to my family, many of which are in the extremely high-risk category, so immunizing myself would be more about them than me.

If it proved at least 70% effective, I likely would.
I want to protect myself from delinquent idiots & the virus in that order.
