He's back, this time with a list where I know about ten or twelve. I like New Years Day, Electric Co, and they're on the list. I also like Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Angel of Harlem and they're not on the list. Pretty divisive band, I suppose. For me, a handful of good cuts from those I've heard. There's got to be more to them than that but I've never felt stirred to find out. Here's his Top 40 list, have a peek or simply move on. www.theguardian.com/culture/2020/may/21/u2s-40-greatest-songs-ranked*Who's Gonna Ride... *Angel of Harlem *Electric Co *New Years Day *Mysterious Ways *Pride maybe a couple more

The Fly and Bullet the Blue Sky should be higher.
Red Hill Mining Town, Walk On, Kite, Get on Your Boots, and Miracle Drug, should be on the list before a lot of others that are.
Great band, great songwriting, and great musicianship should not be overshadowed by politics.

Bad should be up there. Great song.
U2's performance of Bad at Live Aid was extraordinary. Forever overshadowed by Queen now.

I agree with Angel of Harlem and Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses. I also liked Sweetest Thing, Moment of Surrender, and Tryin' to Throw Your Arms Around the World. The top 2 wouldn't have been my top 2 favorites but there is no denying their classic status.

"Bad" is #16!
It should be higher. (1, 2, or 3.)
I think it's one of the most powerful rock songs by any band. I think the lyrics are poetical to the point of being religious, and Bono's vocal is always evocative.
