Short lived band, but had some memorable duties.

Loved Pop Musik. Taped it off the radio and don't know why, it had a different ending. "Do you read me. Loud and clear...lear....lear....lear....lear...." I was surprised when I heard this ending first time. Also, Rock Lobster ended differently. Maybe the station was doing some tricks.

M had four albums, or three under M name and one under Robin Scott. Legal wrangling led to albums 3 and 4 being shelved for twenty years or so. M didn't have much luck. I seem to remember something about album 3 Famous Last Words being shelved because the record company thought it sucked. The fourth Jive Shakisha was an African inspired concept piece also pretty non commercial.

I pretty much only knew of the big hit, but I liked it enough to use NEW YORK LONDON PARIS MUNICH as my sig for quite a while on the old IMDb boards.

Pondering whether to download his new album. This track is quite good.

I saw a version on iTunes of Pop Musik listed as "1989 Remix". Of course, I bought it - hoping it was remixed to sound more 80s.
It was.
