I got bitten by mosquitoes on my hips, so unlike being on my arms where I could put something like a paste, is there anything topical?
I'm taking Benadryl.

According to my big fat Greek wedding Windex heals everything BIGGRIN Jk I have read toothpaste will stop the itch. Do you have calamine lotion? Might help

Good luck Since you plan to shop tomorrow there is an aerosol. I think it is unguentine. It really works. Look for it. My best!

Use your most potent finger nail & drive an 'X' shape right square through the bite. I can usually snuff them out for hours that way.
Kinda has to hurt, sting... numbs it for me when I do it.

I've got a problem because since my first "mosquito bite" I've realized I've got lots of them. I must've scratched the poison ivy when it was fresh because I've spread it elsewhere on my body. I usually wear long pants when I go out in the woods, but I wore pedal pushers when I took the dog out (it's been so warm). I'm glad that I didn't touch my eyes or nose. My dad got hospitalized for it. So things could be worse.

My dog chased down a wasp INSIDE the house. I'm still trying to figure out how it got in. It must've been injured (maybe by my dog swatting at it?), because luckily I could grab a huge bunch of paper towel and run around chasing after it like a lunatic and squish it and flush it. It wasn't a regular little bee (I have a large garden, so I'm used to those), but it was long, so either a wasp or hornet. *shivers*
Luck o' the Irish.

I try to squeeze out as much of the irritant as I can from the bite area first and then apply medication (though I've taken to wiping with soothing Neutrogena astringent).
