We all know what's been happening the last week. It's easy to get caught up in all the negative but plenty of positive things happening. Some communities have been rising up and coming to help those who need it. I attended 2 protests over the weekend. Thousands of people doing a peaceful protest. It wasn't until later into the night that a small group of people broke away and started problems. Over 70 businesses damaged, a few fires and a lot of tear gas. We've been very lucky compared to many cities. The day after the first night of looting we went out and had hundreds and hundreds of people show up to help clean up the disaster. In less than a day over $50,000 was raised to help those who were affected. People came out in droves to donate and restock the food pantries. Anybody else seen any of their communities stepping up or seen people coming together to help?
